Kristin provides comprehensive individual therapy and parent counselling services. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in both acute care (BC Children’s Hospital, University of British Columbia Hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital, Foothills Medical Centre) and community mental health settings in various mental health roles.

Kristin provides treatment for issues related to early childhood experiences, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, anger, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, self-esteem, relationships, divorce and separation, parenting, and stress. Kristin has specific training in the following evidence-based treatment programs for trauma: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

Kristin uses an integrative trauma-informed approach that includes aspects of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Expressive Art and Play Therapy; all depending on the particular needs of her clients. Kristin strives to create a safe environment for clients to explore, discover, and gain a better understanding of themselves. Her goal is to provide tools and strategies that her clients can put to use immediately.
