Child and Adolescent Therapy

Child and adolescent therapy addresses the unique needs and challenges of children and adolescents in a developmentally appropriate way. Some of these challenges may include:

*For client’s residing in Alberta, Vue Psychology will see clients aged 14+ as all sessions are virtual.

**When working with children and adolescents, the first session is usually spent with the parents or guardians to discuss current concerns and gather necessary background information. Vue Psychology welcomes parents to book a free 10 minute phone consultation prior to booking the initial consultation to assess whether Vue Psychology can be of help to you, and for you to ask any questions.

If parents or guardians are separated or divorced a copy of the court order stating parental rights is needed. This is to ensure a court order is not in place that specifically addresses or impacts the issue of consent for a minor.
